Bobcat Portable Generators fill the demand for heavy-duty but compact, portable generators. Bobcat Portable Generators feature reliable Honda® engines with low-oil shutdown and brushless alternators. They also offer conveniently located outlet receptacles to easily connect saws, drills, jackhammers, or any other tool that requires a power source. There are four models to choose from.

BGT Portable Generator

With it's T-bar design, the BGT portable generator is the lightest generator in it's class. At 64 pounds it can be loaded and unloaded by a single person. Despite it's lighter weight, the BGT is still able to produce a maximum power of 2.6 kW with 2.3 kW of continuous power.

A commercial-grade Honda engine ensures a reliable power flow. Not only does the BGT portable generator offer you efficient power in a convenient package, but is one of the few generators in it's class to offer a 120V/20A GCFI duplex outlet.
Like all of the Bobcat portable generator family, the BGT is designed for the long run. It features individual circuit breakers on each outlet to provide added protection. An automatic low oil shutdown feature prevents the unit from starting, or operating if oil levels are too low.

With an industrial grade Honda engine and a brushless alternator ensuring the most efficient transfer of energy from mechanical to electrical, the Bobcat BG3H portable generator produces a maximum power of 2.9 kW and 2.5 kW of continuous power. A 2.9 gallon polymer fuel tank allows for an extended operating interval of 9.8 hours at 75 percent load. Plus, the 120V/20A GFCI duplex outlet and 120V/30A twist-lock outlet can be used for a variety of appliances and machines.
Despite its power, the BG3H maintains a compact size with an operating weight of only 90 pounds for easy transport.

The Bobcat BG5H and BGE7H portable generators take the power level up a notch with GX Honda industrial-grade engines. These generators are built to supply you with the power you need, wherever you need it, and let you use this power longer with their industry-leading fuel capacities.
An auto-idle feature helps extend your operating intervals even further by slowing the engine during idle operation, which also prolongs engine life by reducing wear on connected electrical loads. A deluxe control panel allows you to harness this performance to meet your needs with two 120V/20A GFCI duplex outlets, one 120V/30A twist-lock outlet, a 120V/240V – 20A twist-lock outlet and a voltage adaptor switch.
Both the engine and alternator are mounted for vibration isolation, which reduces vibration feedback and extends the life of these components. The vented engine shield prevents damage from jobsite debris while allowing adequate air flow to keep the engine cool. The alternator is also able to handle strenuous working conditions. Class H insulation allows the alternator to withstand higher internal temperature rises than any other type of insulation would, which ensures longer component life in the hottest work environments.
These models also have a 20-amp ground fault circuit interruption feature that protects the equipment from power surge damage. Not only can these machines perform under rough conditions, but a pneumatic wheel kit, foldable handles and a lifting bail make them easy to maneuver around jobsite obstacles, move from one site to another, and store between jobs.
