Rubber Tracks Boost Productivity
Take command of a Bobcat® compact track loader and you can keep working in wet, soft conditions and on rough terrain when others with wheeled machines are sitting still. Choose from four different models, including two radius-lift and two vertical-lift path designs. Designed for unsurpassed toughness, reliability and serviceability, they’re ideal for landscaping, grading loose materials or tackling a wide variety of construction jobs.
The key to their performance is the dedicated track system. Tough, specially-made rubber tracks distribute the weight of the machine over a much larger area than a wheeled machine. The payoffs include a smoother ride across ruts, potholes and rocks, better flotation and more ground-to surface contact for improved traction. Instead of wasting power by spinning your wheels, especially in loose, soft ground and on wet or slick surfaces, you keep pushing.
You also enjoy better flotation to work in muddy, sandy or other loose conditions when a wheeled machine might bog down or sink. Also, the low ground pressure of the tracks enables you to tread lightly across sensitive surfaces with minimal disruption.
The undercarriage includes an elevated sprocket design, which helps keep abrasive materials out of the sprocket teeth and steel imbeds and triangular track routing to maximize track-to-ground contact. The idlers and rollers are sealed and oillubricated to minimize maintenance.
