Selectable Joystick Controls Available on More Loader Models

Left Handle Joystick

Left Handle Joystick

The list of Bobcat® loaders which can be equipped with Selectable Joystick Controls (SJC) now includes the T250 and T300 compact track loaders. This state-of-the-art system, which allows you to select from two different control patterns: ISO or “H” at the push of a switch, is the latest control option for Bobcat loaders. It was introduced in 2003 for use with Bobcat S220, S250 and S300 skid-steer loaders.

SJC provides a third choice in matching the machines to your operating preference. If joystick controls are not for you, you can choose Standard Controls to control lift and tilt functions with your feet, or the Advanced Control System (ACS) to control lift and tilt functions with either your feet or hands.

SJC enhances both operating convenience and machine performance:

Low-effort controls

By reducing fatigue, the SJC system helps increase productivity.

Choice of control pattern

Right Handle Joystick

Right Handle Joystick

Push a rocker switch to select the ISO pattern—the left joystick controls wheel drive, while the right joystick raises and lowers the lift arms and tilts the attachment.

Choose the “H” pattern and the left joystick controls the left wheels and the lift arm operation and the right joystick controls the right wheels and the attachment tilt.

Automatic power management

The SJC system provides the right amount of drive torque to match the work load. For example, when driving into a pile of dirt to fill the bucket, the system automatically adjusts the hydrostatic drive system to minimize engine stalling.

Adjustable inching control

SJC is also designed for precision work with hydraulically-operated attachments. This feature lets you set the loader’s travel speed between 0 and 7 mph while the joystick is pushed all the way forward (or reverse) continuing to provide full hydraulic flow and power for high torque and maximum attachment performance.
