Deluxe Instrument Panel Offers Advanced Loader Operating Information, Security

The deluxe instrument panel is an option that offers Bobcat® equipment owners and operators the most advanced combination of machine information and security features found on any line of compact loaders.

This computerized system is available on all Bobcat S130 and larger skid-steer loaders and all compact track and all-wheel steer loaders.

The panel, mounted in the inside upper right corner of the cab, includes a numeric key pad to select various functions and a monitor. This state-of-the-art system offers several advantages:

Machine management

The monitor shows bartype gauges for battery condition, engine oil pressure and hydraulic oil temperature and pressure and a digital tachometer, clock, job clock and help information by pressing the appropriate selection button. It also includes the same 14 function icons as the right side standard instrument panel. These icons light up to indicate such conditions as low fuel level, high engine coolant temperature or low system voltage.

The “help” function, available in English, Spanish or five other languages at the push of a button, provides information for using the loader with various attachments.

Security

The key pad is used to start the engine by entering a number code corresponding to the letters of a password and pressing the RUN/ENTER button. You can have as many as 10 passwords. No keys are needed.
You can also use these passwords to limit use of certain machine functions, such as high-flow hydraulics, to selected operators.

The deluxe instrument panel includes the following features which are also part of the standard instrument panel:

• System protection

An automatic shut down feature that will stop the engine under certain operating conditions to prevent possible serious damage to the engine or the hydrostatic/hydraulic system.

• Trouble-shooting

Instrumentation that can help reduce downtime and repair expenses by allowing technicians to diagnose any machine malfunction electronically in the shop.

Fuel and engine coolant temperature and buttons for controlling functions such as front and rear lights, auxiliary hydraulic pressure release and the Bobcat Interlock Control System (BICS) safety system.
