New S205 Skid-Steer Loader Offers Top Performance in a Mid-Size Machine

The newest addition to the industry’s premier line of skid-steer loaders, the mid-size Bobcat® S205, provides lifting and digging power to handle the heavy work and the ability to work quickly where space is limited.
The S205 offers yet another option in matching Bobcat machines to the job. Just 66-in.-wide, it’s a smart choice for those who want a machine with more power than the Bobcat S185, but don’t need the increased capabilities of the larger S220 loader.

More flotation
Standard equipment includes rugged 31.5 x 13 x 16.5 tires. The wider tread provides extra flotation to work productively in softer ground conditions.
More lifting capacity
With its 2,050-lb. rated operating capacity, the S205 is ideal for lifting palletized materials at construction sites, moving pallets of sod on landscape projects and hauling bales of hay on farms and ranches. At the same time, the vertical lift path provides the height and reach for loading trucks.
More power
The S205 meets the need for higher performance with a 61 hp liquid-cooled Kubota diesel engine. It produces the digging and pushing power for making quick work of excavating and moving dirt and other materials.

The extended wheelbase helps smooth out bumps and the low-profile lift arm design gives you a view all around the machine. That’s a handy feature when loading, unloading or turning in tight areas. Equipment Security and GPS Package
A Global Positioning System (GPS), theft-recovery and equipment-management package will soon be available for Bobcat® machines.
With this dealer-installed option you will be able to create virtual boundaries or “geo-fences” that will trigger alerts when a machine leaves a specified area. The system will also enable GPS tracking, and transmit equipment location data, operating status and engine hours on-demand or at automated intervals.
