Tackle Tough Tasks in Tough Conditions with Bobcat Compact Track Loaders
Excellent flotation. Impressive traction. Excellent breakout forces. Minimal ground disturbance. Efficient use of power. These are among the many ways the Bobcat® line of compact track loaders enables you to boost your productivity by doing more work in less time and by extending your work season. They’re ideal for excavating, grading and construction work. They also shine in jobs such as laying sod, working in nurseries and tree farms and performing ground maintenance duties where they tread lightly on turf and other sensitive surfaces.
No matter which model you choose—the new radius path T180 and T250 models, the vertical path T190, or high-performance T300—these versatile, operator-friendly machines specialize in making easy work of the toughest conditions. Here’s how:
Jobsite advantages
At the heart of this money-making, time-saving performance is the dedicated rubber track system. Exerting—depending on model—as little as 4.1 psi of ground pressure, the rugged, rubber tracks allow you to keep working in sandy, muddy or other soft conditions that would stop a wheel loader dead. And the increased surface contact of the tracks with the ground gives you the traction you need to work efficiently in slick, wet conditions and rough terrain.
But there’s more to Bobcat compact track loaders than incredible pushing and turning power. They also give you a smooth ride over ruts, potholes and rock, and they offer more lifting capability than a similar sized rubber tire skid-steer loader.
A durable machine
This dedicated track system is also designed for reliable operation and ease of maintenance. It’s driven by two high-torque hydrostatic motors, which are directly coupled to the sprocket. This eliminates costly planetary reduction systems found on other brands of track loaders.
At the same time, the elevated sprocket design does more than maximize track-to-ground contact for maximum flotation and traction. It also helps shed abrasive material before it can damage sprocket teeth and the tracks.
Each side of the machine has four rollers and two idlers. The rollers, which support the center track area, feature a triple flange design to maintain maximum contact between the roller and track and guide the track in-between the idlers on rough ground.
The bearings on all the idlers and rollers are sealed and oil lubricated. Further easing maintenance chores is the way track tensioning adjustments are made—just add grease to the tensioning cylinder.
Many attachment choices
No other line of compact loaders offers as many choices of attachments—from an angle broom to a wheel saw. With such a wide array of available, quick-mounting Bobcat attachments, as well as optional high-flow hydraulics, you can use your Bobcat compact track loader to save all kinds of work. Choose the optional Power Bob-Tach™ attachment mounting system and you won’t even have to leave the cab to attach these time-savers.
Work in comfort
The ergonomically-designed cab gives you a great view all around the machine and plenty of room to work. In addition, an innovative seat bar pivots from the rear and provides a secondary restraint. Always wear the seat belt. Controls and gauges are located where you can see and reach them without stress and strain. These design features help you work comfortably all day long.
You can further enhance the functionality of the most advanced cab in the business by equipping it with the factory- or field-installed deluxe instrument panel. It includes a keyless start security system, digital time and job clocks, help screens for operating attachments and monitoring and diagnostic functions.
For even more comfort, a fully adjustable suspension seat, cab heater and air conditioning are also available.
