The innovative VersaHandler® telescopic tool carrier (TTC) is more than a telescopic material handler or rough terrain forklift. This versatile machine also combines the speed, agility and strength of a skid-steer loader with the extended reach of a telescopic forklift. At the same time, it does much more than just lift, carry and place materials. Extended lift and reach
The telescopic, two-section, lowprofile boom can lift, reach and dump higher and farther than any fixed boom loader of a similar or even larger size. Its ability to place or pick up objects and materials over curbs, walls, fences and other obstacles increases your productivity.
More payload capacity
The strength provided by the rigid frame allows the VersaHandler TTC to lift much more weight than the same size articulated loader can handle.
Impressive tractive forces
The Bobcat telescopic can match or exceed the tractive effort and pushing power of a 1-yard articulated loader.
Unsurpassed maneuverability
By pressing a switch you can choose all-wheel steer mode and maneuver as well as articulated wheel loaders, or crab steer to out-maneuver wheel loaders when positioning the machine, or front-wheel steer for traveling at road speeds.
Fast travel speeds
Depending on model, you can drive more than 18 mph between jobs, eliminating the need to trailer the machine.
Low cab height
Although similar in length to most 1-yard loaders, the height of the VersaHandler TTC is much lower.
Simple operation
You control lift and tilt functions using a joystick, which also includes a handy thumbwheel for extending and retracting the boom and operating auxiliary hydraulics.
Easy-to-use transmission
The heavy-duty industrial-style hydrostatic transmission provides more precise control than a torque converter-style transmission.
Choice of transmission modes
Select “drive mode” for fast, direct engine speed response as you operate the accelerator pedal. For more power in pushing or loading applications, choose “work mode.” It allows you to maintain high engine RPM for hydraulic power and wheel torque as the machine travels slowly, a convenient feature for pushing or loading.
Fast attachment changes
The hydraulic Quick-Tach lets you hook up and disconnect nonhydraulic attachments from the operator’s seat.
Cab or canopy
You can outfit your VersaHandler TTC with either an enclosed heated and air conditioned cab or an open canopy which incorporates the patented lateral operator restraint system (LORS), which doubles as a convenient armrest.
