Jessie and His Bobcat Loader
Jessie Yesney and his trusty Bobcat loader, purchased from Bobcat of Iron County.
At WorkSaver magazine, we regularly receive letters from young people extolling the benefits of Bobcat® equipment. We like to hear from the younger generation, and we value their opinions.
Howie Yesney recently sent us a copy of an English assignment written by his son, Jessie, a student at Ewen-Trout Creek High School, Ewen, Mich.
The students were asked to write about something that could serve as a symbol of their personal attributes. Jessie chose his family’s S185 Bobcat skid-steer loader and entitled his essay, “The Trusty Bobcat.” We thought you might enjoy reading what this young man had to say, not only about his Bobcat loader, but also about himself. We cannot reprint the entire assignment but we would like to share some of its highlights with our readers.
“The mighty symbol…is a bright orange and white Bobcat loader…a powerful machine that has multiple uses…I work hard, and it works hard. It keeps at things even if it is difficult, just like me…Strength is a quality we both possess.”
Jessie says that when he gets off the school bus the first thing he sees is, “My trusty Bobcat loader, waiting patiently like an old friend. We never let each other down.”
Jessie says he has a lot of stored up energy at the end of the day and there’s no better release than “the scream of the turbo engine” as the two of them get to work “plowing snow, digging trenches” or anything else that needs to be done. “The Bobcat loader saves me a lot of time and effort,” says Jessie.
Strength, determination, hard-work and the ability to follow directions are attributes that Jessie possesses. “I like these qualities about me,” he says. And, according to Jessie, his Bobcat loader possesses them, too.
