763: You’re in the Army Now
The reliability, durability and versatility of Bobcat® 763 G-Series skid-steer loaders has been demonstrated on thousands of jobsites around the world.
One especially demanding owner—the U.S. Army—has put dozens of 763s into some very tough work situations over the past few years. These radius lift path loaders not only faced, but passed, plenty of demanding challenges along the way.
As a result of this superior performance, the U.S. Army is taking delivery of at least 283 new 763 loaders in 2003 as the first part of a five-year contract. This order, one of the largest single purchases ever of Bobcat equipment, demonstrates the confidence the military has in this rugged loader.
The 763s will each be equipped with augers, combination buckets, hydraulic breakers and pallet forks. They will be shipped to military installations worldwide. The machines will be painted military green, but otherwise are normal production units built at the company’s Gwinner, N.D., factory.
From Bosnia to Afghanistan and many points in between, the Bobcat 763 has become a strong support machine to American soldiers carrying out their missions around the globe.
