New Spanish Online Safety Videos Enhance Operator Training
The Bobcat deluxe instrument panel features a multi-language display.
New online Spanish-language versions of Bobcat® safety videos make it easy for Spanish-speaking operators to learn about proper operation and maintenance of their Bobcat equipment.
These videos, each about 10 minutes long, cover proper operation and maintenance of Bobcat skid-steer, all-wheel steer and mini track loaders, compact excavators, loader backhoes and utility vehicles as well as the ToolcatTM utility work machine and the VersaHandler® TTC.
"We developed these new videos to meet the growing demand for Spanish-speaking owners and operators of Bobcat equipment," says Chris Fosland, Bobcat product safety compliance engineer. "And the Internet is becoming an increasingly popular educational tool. No other compact equipment manufacturer offers this kind of Spanish-language training online."
To view the videos, including English versions, visit the Bobcat website - www.Bobcat.com - and click on Training Resources. Or, you can go directly to the videos at www.training.bobcat.com.
The Spanish-language videos are part of a long-standing commitment of Bobcat to help train new operators and update experienced ones in the safe and efficient operation of Bobcat equipment.
"Like our other training resources, these videos can help employers meet the OSHA requirements for training equipment operators," says Tom Ihringer, Bobcat product safety manager. "Productivity and safety have always been on the minds of equipment owners, especially when new operators are on the job. We're pleased to offer a number of comprehensive and consistent operator training courses."
In fact, Bobcat offers the industry's most extensive selection of formal courses in compact equipment operation. Each course features a handbook, industry safety manual (if applicable) and instructional video along with classroom and hands-on training. You can sample the instructional video and handbook for each course on the Bobcat website and order the courses from the website or your local dealer. Spanish-language equipment safety signs and decals are also available from your dealer.
