S330 Boosts Lifting Capacity and Has More Horsepower

Bobcat S330 Skid-Steer Loader

The new Bobcat S330 skid-steer loader has a rated operating capacity of 3,300 lb.

Adding to the industry's largest selection of skid-steer loaders, Bobcat introduced the new S330 with an impressive rated operating capacity, a larger diesel engine with more horsepower, improved cooling system and increased lift height.

The Bobcat® S330 features a 3,300-lb. rated operating capacity, becoming the largest model in the line. This feature makes it an appealing machine for customers throughout the construction, landscaping and agriculture markets.

In addition to the added capacity, an 85 hp diesel engine, with its increased displacement, improves pushing power and drive torque when digging. The engine also improves high-flow attachment performance by providing more support for the machine's hydraulic horsepower. High-flow attachments, such as planers, wheel saws, Brushcat™ rotary cutters and snowblowers, will benefit from the horsepower boost.

Customers who need a heavy-duty skid-steer loader will appreciate this model's reach. The S330 loader's 10-ft., 10-in. lift height and vertical lift path is a significant benefit for nurseries, supply centers, turf and sod contractors, and demolition and residential contractors. Added reach enables these operators to lift and place materials easier.

Available only as an option on other Bobcat skid-steer loaders, the S330 comes standard with two-speed travel. It's 6.9 mph in standard speed or 12 mph in two-speed provides quick transportation on big jobsites. Also standard is an automatic engine shutdown system which monitors various machine functions to optimize loader uptime and protect your investment.

Cooling capacity increased by 30 percent
An improved cooling system in the new Bobcat S330 skid-steer loader is designed to maximize performance and efficiency by increasing the loader's cooling capacity by 30 percent. A variable speed SmartFAN™ turns only as fast as needed, providing increased cooling in extreme operating conditions, such as when using highflow attachments or in heavy digging applications.

Brad Hull of GBH Enterprises, Victorville, Calif., experienced the S330's remarkable performance when he tested the machine. Hull specializes in asphalt grinding projects, operating his Bobcat skid-steer loaders with 40-in. planer attachments. Hull says the larger engine with its added torque, improved cooling system and high flow auxiliary hydraulics will enable him to complete his asphalt planing jobs faster. He says that, while he likes his current Bobcat skid-steer loaders, he is impressed with the improvements made in new S330 and will appreciate the new cooling system on those hot summer days when he is grinding asphalt.
