Angle Blade Option Available for Some Excavator Models
The new Bobcat angle blade adjusts +/- 25 degrees and enables the excavator operator to furrow material to either side of the machine.
Bobcat® compact excavator operators can backfill and grade dirt faster and with more precision with the new hydraulically-activated angle blade. The angle blade option is currently available for the Bobcat 335, 337, 430 and 435 compact excavators, and it will be very popular with landscape, construction and utility contractors.
While compact excavators have always had backfill blades for backfilling, the angle blade option gives operators more flexibility. The angle blade adjusts ± 25 degrees and enables the excavator operator to push material to either side of the machine when grading and backfilling. That means operators can complete projects faster with fewer passes.
Additional angle blade features include a replaceable and reversible bolt-on cutting edge that extends the service life versus welded-on cutting edges. For added productivity, a blade float feature also minimizes operator input and improves comfort. Operators can control blade functions with a single joystick without removing their hand from the blade lever.
The hydraulically-activated angle blade backfills and grades dirt faster.
Bobcat offers the best-in-class dual cylinder design for optimal protection, minimizing buildup on the blade structure. The cylinder protection can reduce machine downtime for routine material removal.
