Performance PlusBobcat engineers constantly work to improve skid-steer loader performance. The improved efficiency of K-Force hydraulics enhances lift and tilt functions for better digging. This also boosts hydraulic torque for more productive attachment operation and reduces the chances of stalling the attachment.
Another K-Series innovation is the more efficient, variable-speed SmartFAN™ system. It not only provides better cooling, but also runs at full speed only when needed. The hydraulically-driven fan is up to 30 percent quieter than ordinary cooling fans, which reduces operator fatigue and allows easier communication on the job.
Another example is the K-Series chaincase. It matches machine weight, horsepower and the performance demands of the toughest applications. Virtually maintenance-free, its protected axle seals never need greasing. Further, the chains never need adjustment because the axle tubes are welded to the loader frame. The keel-shaped belly pan provides generous ground clearance for easier travel through sand and mud.
Comfort CabA Bobcat loader cab features excellent all-around visibility, more room for the operator, rear-pivot seat bar which doubles as a secondary restraint and armrest, suspension seat, dome light and power port. Options include a climate-controlled cab and ride control kit to absorb shocks.
The state-of-the-art instrument panels have dozens of operational, diagnostic and monitoring features. Install the optional deluxe instrument panel for the keyless start security system, feature lockouts, digital time and job clocks and multi-language display.
Three choices of machine controls are available: Standard (dual steering levers and dual foot pedals); Advanced Control System (standard foot and hand controls switchable with H pattern hand controls) and Selectable Joystick Controls (choose ISO or H pattern).
