Supporting Customers with Full Service — Before and After the Sale
What sets Bobcat Company apart from the competition — beyond industry-leading equipment and outstanding sales support — are four critical areas: dedicated dealer network, financial solutions, readily available parts and service, and safety training programs.
Bobcat Dealer Network
The strength of a manufacturing company depends on an excellent distribution system and top-notch customer service. The Bobcat dealer network provides superior service and timely support to keep customers productive and machines running, and to help customers remain successful.
Dealerships are an extension of the hard-working support employees who have been serving the compact equipment industry for nearly 50 years. No other compact equipment manufacturer has a dealer network like Bobcat. More than 580 dealerships are located across North America, providing a one-stop shop for parts, sales, service, finance and training needs. Additionally, many dealers support local communities with equipment donations and operators in times of emergency, as well as community improvement projects.
Many dealers have a long history with Bobcat: some have sold Bobcat machines for well over 40 years. In a world of constant change, it is good to know that customers can expect to receive only the best service from Bobcat dealers. Finance
There are many options when it’s time to buy compact equipment. Bobcat makes it easy with sensible choices to best match customers’ needs. Choose from several flexible options for financing equipment including lease programs, credit and rent-to-own plans.
A lease program can be an attractive offer because customers can operate new equipment for a predetermined duration with purchase options. Select a lease program for new Bobcat compact loaders, excavators or many attachments to minimize downtime. Equipment lease programs can have tax benefits. Check with a tax consultant to determine if leasing is the best choice.
Another option for purchasing Bobcat equipment is credit, which can be done through a local Bobcat dealership and authorized Bobcat finance providers. Credit programs may offer incentives to quickly build equity without making a down payment. Skip payment options allow customers with seasonal work to skip or make small payments when the season ends or work slows down (up to three times a year). Avoid late payment charges with an easy automatic payment plan: simply set up payments to be deducted automatically from a business checking account.
Parts and Service
Nobody likes downtime. If a machine isn’t running, you aren’t making money. Bobcat dealerships understand the importance of keeping equipment working smoothly. That’s why they have well-trained service technicians ready to respond if a problem should arise. Authorized Bobcat dealers also have a well-stocked inventory of genuine Bobcat parts that are built to withstand demanding applications.
Your local Bobcat dealership can assist with preventive maintenance programs that ensure machines meet their necessary service schedules. By regularly servicing equipment, minor problems can be identified before they lead to costly repairs. Bobcat offers two maintenance programs.
BobCHECK/strong> BobCARE PM 12-month Warranty Training Resources Bobcat operator and service training courses provide step-by-step basics of operation and service through an instructional DVD or videotape. Courses also include an administrator’s guide, student handbooks, certificates and a safety manual. Some courses are available in Spanish. Visit a local dealership or click here for the training page to learn more about the courses. Another option that is ideal for rental stores or a quick refresher is a DVD with 10-minute safety videos, available in English or Spanish. Videos provide simple instructions for properly operating and maintaining Bobcat equipment. Products covered include: skid-steer loaders, all-wheel steer loaders, compact excavators, mini track loaders, utility vehicles, utility work machines and telescopic tool carriers. To order this DVD, visit your local dealership or order online at the Bobcat Store.
Preventive maintenance is the best defense against downtime. Bobcat service technicians are trained to look for potential problems. The BobCHECK inspection allows technicians to review items that require routine maintenance, including hydraulic, electrical and drive systems. A quick check can be done at the dealership or at a jobsite.
Periodic maintenance is done by skilled Bobcat technicians at scheduled intervals: 250, 500 or 1,000 hours. Scheduling the work allows you to plan your budget accordingly.
Bobcat loaders, compact excavators, telescopic tool carriers and attachments are protected by a 12-month warranty that provides free parts and labor to repair any defects in material or workmanship, regardless of the hours used.
Operator training is a must-have for compact equipment owners. Bobcat makes it easy to learn how to properly operate and maintain equipment with a library of operator and service training courses or safety videos for skid-steer loaders, compact excavators, telescopic tool carriers, utility work machines, mini track loaders, backhoe attachments, planer attachments, forestry cutters and the new loader radio remote control. Service safety training courses are also available for skid-steer loaders and compact excavators.
