Perimeter Bobcat began their business in 1991 with seven employees, including two sales staff, led by owner John Spirey. Having boasted a sales staff of seventeen sales people at one time, the business began to skyrocket after Atlanta hosted the 1996 Olympics. Perimeter Bobcat was purchased by Ingersoll Rand Company in 2001 and is now a Bobcat Company owned store.

Now with four locations in Atlanta, Marietta, Gainesville and Lake City, the business employees nearly 100 staff.
