WorkSaver Spring 2007
T180 with Laser-Guided Box Blade
When it comes to saving time, labor and materials on fine-grading jobs you can't beat a Bobcat® loader with a laser-guided grader or box blade attachment. This cost-effective combination of compact equipment is far more efficient and productive than using grade rods and transits or lasers to continually monitor progress in producing the desired grade. It's also much more accurate, allowing you to achieve a nearly perfect flat or sloping grade.
This setup, which can be used with Bobcat skid-steer, compact track or all-wheel steer loaders, features a fully integrated laser system. A receiver, mounted on a mast attached to the box blade or grader attachment, captures a 360-degree reference plane of laser light emitted by a tripod-mounted laser beacon. The receiver uses the laser signal to automatically control the height of the box or grader blade for cutting and filling the base material to within +⁄- 0.25 in. of the desired elevation.
