Green Innovation

Climate Action. As part of our climate change mitigation efforts, we aim to reduce our emissions by 30% by 2030, compared to 2021 levels. Following a recent energy audit and roadmap at our Dobris plant, we are installing energy meter devices throughout the facility, upgrading HVAC systems, installing solar power facilities, and implementing heat recovery systems for plant heat sources. A digital platform will also be developed to monitor all production-related environmental data, including energy usage and greenhouse gas emissions, in one system. This will enable us to benchmark the outcomes of each reduction measure against other plants and easily track our progress.

Product Sustainability. Doosan Bobcat is committed to achieving product sustainability through a Product Innovation Strategy focused on autonomy, connectivity, and electrification (ACE). We are advancing the use of environmentally friendly fuels, including Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO), through ongoing research and development. Our supplier selection process also prioritizes the procurement of eco-friendly raw materials.

Proud Workplace

Health & Safety Management. As health and safety is our top priority, we have implemented a comprehensive health and safety management system to protect the well-being of all employees in the workplace. Our primary facilities in EMEA hold ISO 45001 certification, and we have developed and implemented health and safety policies. We regularly conduct site-specific risk assessments and analyses, identifying potential risks and implementing corresponding mitigation measures, with thorough inspections by our EHS team.

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion. By integrating Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion as a cornerstone of human resource management, we strive to foster a community that values diverse ideas and experiences, lays the groundwork for innovative thinking among all employees, and cultivates a work environment based on trust and respect. We are also running several initiatives to advance our culture of inclusion and belonging while helping to develop the next generation of talent.

Responsible Growth

Sustainable Supply Chain. Our Supplier Code of Conduct applies to all suppliers, as well as their subsidiaries, joint ventures, and affiliates, who provide products and services to our operations worldwide. This code is built around sustainability requirements, including labor and human rights, health and safety, environmental practices, ethical conduct, management systems, and responsible mineral sourcing. Doosan Bobcat requires all partners to adhere to the Supplier Code of Conduct.

Community Engagement. Guided by our ESG vision, we have defined three pillars of community engagement: 'Inspire People, Preserve the Environment, and Support the Community.' These pillars serve as focal points for our community engagement activities. We have identified environmental preservation, STEM education, local community involvement, and disaster relief as key areas of focus. We are partnering with local authorities and NGOs to help preserve the communities where we live and work, and we collaborate with schools across the region to inspire curiosity and passion for STEM in future generations.

Do the right thing

Ethics and Compliance. Guided by the Doosan Group’s Code of Conduct, Doosan Bobcat provides a comprehensive set of anti-corruption standards that all employees are expected to understand and follow. We also encourage our subsidiaries and third parties engaged in business with us to adhere to the Doosan Code of Conduct. Our 5 pillars focus on Inhwa (Respect, Teamwork, and Openness), Integrity and Transparency, Fair Competition, Customers, Innovation and Growth, Community Development, Safety and Environment.

ESG Governance. Our EMEA ESG Operation Committee was set up in the first half of 2024. The role of the committee is to oversee both internal and external challenges pertinent to operations and to evaluate the development and prospective strategies of Doosan Bobcat’s key strategic domains. Additionally, our regional ESG team monitors the implementation of KPIs and the progress of issue-specific initiatives. They work closely with our HQ ESG Team to ensure that the ESG Governance operates cohesively and aligns with the company’s overarching ESG management objectives. Furthermore, the collecting and disclosing data for ESG reports and evaluations and look for opportunities to implement projects, activities, and tasks aligned with our ESG goals.
