Frequently Asked Questions

What Is a Zero-Turn Mower?

A zero-turn lawn mower can turn 360 degrees within its own footprint. Like a skid-steer loader, zero-turn mower drive tires can rotate in opposite directions during a turn. Because there is virtually no turning radius, a zero-turn mower offers excellent maneuverability.

  • Easily navigates the obstacles of finished landscapes, such as fences, buildings, patios, boulders and retaining walls.
  • Because they can get in close to lawn structures, zero-turn mowers can reduce or eliminate the need for trimming.

Commercial zero-turn mowers provide all of this in addition to high travel and mowing speeds, innovative cutting decks, along with rugged durability for long hours of work. They are a popular choice for professional grounds maintenance crews, landscaping businesses and homeowners with lawn and garden needs.
