Community Giving and Volunteerism
Bobcat Company is committed to investing time and resources in the communities where our customers, dealers and employees live and work. We have a long history of community involvement – supporting our employees in charitable contributions and volunteer organizations every year. We’re proud to partner with many organizations that support various initiatives within our communities.
Doosan Day of Community Service
Multiple times each year, hundreds of Doosan and Bobcat Company employees across North America take part in Doosan Day of Community Service.
Our teams participate in a variety of tasks – including working at local food banks, schools and medical facilities; painting and cleaning up community centers and food pantries; holding used book drives at local libraries; and performing construction tasks at community recreational facilities and homeless shelters. Our employees look forward to the events every year – having the opportunity to both serve others in the community and engage in a meaningful activity with their colleagues.

Restoring Santa Rosa After Wildfire
When the Santa Rosa fires left Californians with more than 8,900 homes and businesses in ruin and 245,000 acres of wine country covered in ash, Bobcat was ready to help. To aid in the recovery effort, we supplied JM Environmental, a local hazardous materials abatement and demolition company, with a fleet of Bobcat equipment and attachments. Workers used our excavators, skid-steer and compact track loaders to sift through the wreckage and clean up debris. Together we helped the people of the Santa Rosa region pick up the pieces of their lives and build hope for a future.
Cleanup After A Hurricane
Bobcat equipment is often on-site after natural disasters hit, helping communities recover. Just ask John Cunha, President and CEO of JFM Concrete, who relied on Bobcat machines to help his company demolish and rebuild damaged homes and neighborhoods in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. In one news story after another covering the cleanup efforts, viewers saw JFM employees using our familiar white equipment to repair buildings battered by the superstorm. Although Bobcat Company cannot be everywhere when disaster strikes, the owners, operators and dealers of our equipment are. We are proud to support them in every way we can.
Bobcat Park Improvement Project
In celebration of Bobcat Company’s 65th anniversary and with a focus on positively impacting communities, Bobcat and the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) are partnering to create vibrant and sustainable community park and recreation areas through the Bobcat Park Improvement Project.
United Way
Bobcat has a long partnership with the United Way. The company is proud to join with local United Way organizations in their quest to make their communities better places to live, work and raise families through charitable giving and volunteer efforts.
