BMX Athletes Ryan Nyquist, Hannah Roberts and Perris Benegas

You need to move dirt to catch air. Bobcat equipment makes it easy.

Whether you’re mastering high-altitude freestyle maneuvers or changing the limits of your land, the right equipment makes all the difference – so we’re thrilled to partner with BMX legend and coach Ryan Nyquist, along with world-class BMX freestyle athletes like Hannah Roberts and Perris Benegas. And they seem stoked about it, too.

“With these tough, reliable machines supporting our vision to be the best in the world, I could not be more excited to have Bobcat on our team,” says Nyquist.

“With their tough reputation, Bobcat is a perfect partner for my drive to compete and never give up,” said Roberts. “I’m proud to be a part of One Tough Team.”

I think Bobcat is an awesome American brand, which is why I am proud of our partnership and the opportunity to help showcase the brand and BMX,."

Make It Faster – See Ryan’s First Compact Tractor Project

BMX rider Ryan Nyquist was pumped to receive his CT1025 compact tractor from Bobcat Company. This versatile, tough equipment helped him build a community-centered dirt track.

Bobcat fits wherever toughness, agility and versatility are essential.

BMX freestyle is a sport that requires precision, hard work and bravery. These athletes are passionate about what they do, just like many Bobcat customers. They show up every day, rely on dependable equipment and give it their all.

Ryan Nyquist has been an icon in the BMX industry, giving his all, for more than 25 years. He holds 16 X-Games medals, 39 X-Games competition starts and 60 Dew Tour finals appearances. He’s invented and been the first to pull off many tricks in both dirt and park riding, which makes him a unique, powerful force on the contest scene. His energy is infectious, and he has a love for Bobcat® equipment that makes him a genuine ambassador for the Bobcat brand. Ryan recently transitioned his competitive spirit and BMX knowledge to coaching the women’s BMX freestyle team – and two of its standout athletes, Hannah Roberts and Perris Benegas.

Hannah and Perris grew up as the only girls at their local skate parks and have been blazing a trail for girls and women in the extreme sports world. Hannah Roberts has been riding since the age of 9 and has since won two world championships (2017 and 2019). She also earned a silver medal in the 2020 Olympics. Perris Benegas got her BMX inspiration at a young age, doing tricks alongside her older brother and his friends. In 2018, Perris won the world championship, and has made a name for herself with her riding style and unique approach to tricks. She joined Roberts at the Tokyo Olympics and placed fourth, missing the podium by only a few points.

This partnership is a dream come true. I look forward to creating new obstacles and building a variety of jumps and courses made possible by Bobcat equipment.
