Julie Holland is the assistant nursery manager at Shades of Green. Her passion and commitment to the environment are as rooted as the plants that flourish under her care. “Everything is watered here from the back pond,” Julie explains, highlighting the nursery’s commitment to sustainable water usage. By focusing on native Texas plants, Shades of Green not only conserves water but also supports the local ecosystem, ensuring that the plants they nurture are both beautiful and beneficial to the environment.
