Inside the tailgate, you can easily access filters, fluid fills and other key maintenance items. The tip-up cab provides improved access to service areas.

Lift Pump and Self-Priming Fuel System

The fuel pump on R-Series loaders enables a self-priming system that continuously forces air out of the low-pressure fuel system and back into the fuel tank, eliminating the need for a primer bulb. This makes it easier on operators if the fuel tank runs empty or when changing the fuel filter. The fuel pre-filter protects the lift pump from particles that can increase wear and degrade performance. You don’t need a screen at the fuel neck to capture debris.

Fuel Filter

R-Series loaders have a fuel filter that's larger, enabling better system protection and longer filter life with more than double the media surface area. It has more holding capacity to capture impurities for longer intervals, greatly extending the life of the fuel filter. The filter is also easier to change, and it includes a sensor, clear water bowl and drain for easy monitoring.

Extended Air Filter Component Life

With the improved design of the Bobcat engine for R-Series loaders, the life of the air filter is significantly longer, giving you easier, more flexible maintenance. Filters are also easier to change, thanks to a more convenient location.

Adjustment-Free Belts

The stretch-fit belt on Bobcat engines requires no adjustment, resulting in quick, easy serviceability. The heating and air-conditioning system belt requires no adjustments unless the belt is replaced.

Easy-Access Grease Zerks

Easy-to-access grease zerks make regular greasing intervals simple. They're also recessed for natural protection from jobsite objects and debris.
