Bale Spear
Tractor Implement

  • Move and load round hay bales up to 2,200 pounds
  • Tapered tine design holds round bales steady during transport
  • 42-inch spear length
  • Two stabilizing spikes prevent bale rotation

Features & Benefits

Top Tasks

  • Moving, lifting and stacking hay bales
  • Placing and storing bales of hay
  • Loading or unloading hay bales onto trailers and trucks
  • Transporting straw bales for erosion control or landscaping

How It Works

  • The 3-point bale spear connects to your tractor’s 3-point hitch
  • Adjust the height and angle of the bale spear with the 3-point hitch position lever on your tractor
  • To penetrate a hay bale, back up the tractor and align the upper spear with the center of the bale
  • As the spear goes into the bale, stabilizing spikes secure it and prevent rotation during transport
  • To release the bale from the 3-point bale spear, lower the spear at your drop-off point, then move the tractor forward to remove the spear
