Can operate in environments where conventional diesel vehicles may be impractical, including indoor settings, densely populated urban areas, and proximity to both people and animals.
Produces low emissions for a cleaner environment
Offers comparable or superior performance compared to diesel counterparts thanks to a robust powertrain system.
Minimizes vibration levels, reducing operator fatigue and enhancing operational efficiency.
Operates quietly, minimizing environmental impact and promoting operator comfort.
Thanks to the constant power curve provided by the electric powertrain, our electric models provide the same, if not better performance as their diesel equivalents. The powerful electric motor allows you to use various attachments from digging and grading buckets to augers and breakers. Bobcat Forklifts offer great lifting capabilities paired with a host of productivity-enhancing features such as the Electric Foot Brake and responsive acceleration and braking.
Discover new ways of working and expand your capabilities without being limited by typical working hours. Achieve more with less disruption thanks to low noise and zero emissions machines designed around your needs.
Vast battery capacity and super-fast charging mean you can work all day, using breaks for battery top-ups. Using our external supercharger, batteries can be fully recharged in 1-2 hours. The batteries can also be recharged overnight by using the onboard charger from a standard 230 V grid.
Our electric mini excavators pack enough power to provide operators with up to 4 hours of uninterrupted working time depending on the application. You can easily power through a full shift by charging it during work breaks.
Thanks to very low power consumption when idle, our electric machines are ready to deliver the power you need exactly when you need it, without the risk of unwanted downtime.
Two different types of electric current can be used to power your Bobcat machine — alternating current (AC), typically electricity from a power outlet, or direct current (DC), which can be stored in batteries.
AC always needs to be converted to DC so that batteries can store it. The main difference between AC and DC charging is where the conversion from alternating current to direct current takes place. When using AC charging by plugging into your vehicle from a power outlet, the conversion to direct current occurs inside the vehicle via a built-in charger, which is often slow. However, when using the external Bobcat Supercharger, the conversion takes place outside the vehicle in a larger converter, making charging much quicker.
Using an external 400V Supercharger, the batteries can be fully recharged in 1-2 hours (depending on the machine). The batteries can also be recharged overnight by using the onboard charger from a standard 230 V (AC) power outlet.
Our electric machines have the same design, specifications, performance, and controls as diesel machines. The only difference is the electric power unit. Thanks to the constant power curve provided by the electrical powertrain, our electric machines deliver steady and consistent performance.
For standard care, just like with any other Li-Ion battery: avoid completely draining it and charge it occasionally when stored for long periods.
Same as our diesel machines. Bobcat Company develops every machine to the highest standards of quality and durability. That's why our standard warranty provides 24 months or 2000 operating hours (whichever occurs first) of coverage.
The initial cost of an electric machine is slightly higher than that of its diesel counterparts. However, the cost of electricity is lower than the cost of fuel, so you'll save money in the long run.
Electric Mini Excavators require less maintenance compared to traditional models due to their lack of a combustion engine. With no need for oil changes or regular engine servicing, maintenance costs and downtime are significantly reduced, translating to increased efficiency and productivity on the job site.
At the moment, Bobcat’s electric excavators have fewer available attachments, partly due to the smaller size of currently produced models. This may change over time.
